For the planning and realization of transportation projects the Planungsgemeinschaft LaReG prepares landscape conservation plans in consideration of the latest directives of road authorities, Federal Railway Authority, Federal Aviation Authority and the Federal Waterway Administration. They contain a wide range of measures to avoid and minimize interventions as well as measures on designing and compensation. Of increasing significance are measures on the protection of species in the technical paper for the protection of especially and strictly endangered species. We provide the implementation planning for measures on compensation and green structures as well as ecological construction supervision.

Landscape conservation plans or technical papers for energy cable routes, storage projects and projects for the use of regenerative energies sources comprise a detailed fundamental survey and assessment of nature and landscape and the demonstration of impairments and measures.

In some cases an implementation planning for compensatory measures including announcement and site management follows. Within the scope of object planning the free space around facilities like operation buildings and new constructions of building complexes is designed. The processing of announcement and site management assures an appropriate implementation of the planning.

Our office prepares expert statements and planning for the extension and relocation of water bodies, for the renaturation of water bodies, withdrawal of water and for procedures of plot realignment.

In previous projects partly Landscape Conservation plans with an estimation of interventions and the planning of compensatory measures like the ecological enhancement of water bodies. Therefore the European Water Frame Directive and in many cases the FFH-Directive need to be considered. Of increasing significance is the protection of species especially in regard of the passability of waters for migrating fish.

Design planning of water bodies and their border areas we accomplish in the frame of open area designing plans and the implementation planning of different intervention projects.

The extrapolation of soil and rock mining requires in regard to period, extent and sequence of the site decided mining plans with the respective temporal and spatial recultivation and renaturation measures. The latter is condition for the next mining section. These plannings have, as well as guiding objectives for deposit mining, the aim to hold the conflicts between mining and the conservation of nature and landscape to a minimum.

The Planungsgemeinschaft LaReG prepares approval documents in regard of nature conservation like landscape conservation plans or technical papers for a wide range of projects such as industrial locations, extension of agricultural enterprises or touristic infrastructure projects.
